The Crystal Coffin
In a crystal coffin, in a clearing full of grass,
Lays a fair young maiden, her beauty unsupassed,
Though her eyelids are closed now, one can still see inside,
A calmess and a loving for the world she left behind,
Her face shrouded in memory, has no hurt painted in lines,
No experience unlived, though far too short was her time,
No sadness set across her face, for the love that once was known,
"May she rest in peace," was written on her marble stone.
A rose pressed soft against her cheek, still scenting strong as new,
It's thorns set into her lips, adorned with drops of dew,
Who gave this flower to the girl, unmeasured time ago,
